The CDFI industry is the opportunity industry. Whether contributing to the resurgence of an iconic American city like Detroit or creating jobs in rural communities, CDFIs create opportunity each and every day.
In mid-November, a record 1,250 practitioners, funders, investors, and others attended the 31st OFN Conference in Detroit: Opportunity. Made in America. Together we learned about CDFIs' role in Detroit's resurgence and toured its neighborhoods. We attended high-quality breakout sessions delivered by our peers and industry leaders. We focused on capitalization, racial equity, inclusive growth, and other challenges we need to overcome to grow our industry by 10X. Conference attendees left Detroit filled with new ideas, knowledge, and networks to help us ensure that opportunity will be made in America for all.
On these pages, you can view videos of plenary speakers and award recipients, read a transcript of Mark Pinsky's State of the Industry speech "10X," download the presentations from the breakout sessions, and enjoy a photo gallery of our time together.
